The Senior Vice President of Technical will lead all technical aspects of leasing operations, including asset selection, maintenance planning, and compliance. You will ensure that the company’s aircraft assets are managed with the highest standards of safety, airworthiness, and operational readiness to optimize asset value and reliability.
Role and Responsibilities:
Oversee technical management of the fleet, including maintenance, delivery, redelivery, and modification of aircraft assets.
Develop and implement strategies for asset lifecycle management to maximize residual values and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaborate with OEMs, MROs, and lessors to manage aircraft maintenance and technical agreements.
Ensure all aircraft comply with international and local airworthiness standards, overseeing inspections and audits.
Lead technical due diligence and assessment of aircraft acquisitions, disposals, and lease transactions.
Develop policies and procedures for technical operations, including maintenance planning, asset condition monitoring, and records management.
Support the finance team with technical inputs on asset valuation, lifecycle cost analysis, and technical risk assessments.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of technical experience in aviation leasing, including asset management, maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
In-depth knowledge of airworthiness requirements, technical lease agreements, and aircraft lifecycle management.
Proven ability to lead technical teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to technical and regulatory detail.
