The Senior Vice President of Legal will provide strategic legal guidance across all aspects of aviation leasing, regulatory compliance, and contractual negotiations. As a trusted legal advisor, you will protect the company’s interests, ensure legal compliance, and mitigate legal risks associated with aviation leasing transactions globally.
Role and Responsibilities:
Lead the legal function by overseeing all corporate, contractual, and regulatory aspects of the business.
Draft, negotiate, and review lease agreements, financing documents, asset purchase and sale agreements, and other key contracts.
Provide legal advice on complex transactions, structuring, compliance, and dispute resolution within the aviation leasing sector.
Ensure compliance with local and international aviation and leasing regulations, as well as Saudi regulatory standards.
Develop and implement legal policies, frameworks, and best practices to support business objectives and risk profile.
Liaise with external counsel and regulatory authorities as required to support international and domestic legal needs.
Monitor and advise on changes in laws and regulations impacting the aviation leasing industry.
Support executive management in governance matters, including board meetings, corporate secretarial duties, and risk management.
Skills and Qualifications:
Law degree and qualified solicitor, with 10+ years of legal experience in aviation leasing, including international leasing agreements, regulatory compliance, and contract negotiation.
Strong knowledge of aviation leasing law and cross-border leasing
Demonstrated ability to advise senior leaders and negotiate high-stakes, complex transactions.
Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
