Senior Financial Accountant

Fortis Recruitment are urgently seeking a Senior Financial Accountant for our client, a well-known Energy business based in South Dublin.

This diverse and dynamic role is ideal for a qualified accountant with robust financial and analytical skills, accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Preparation & reporting of monthly accounts
• Variance analysis and reporting (P&L, cashflow etc.)
• Assist in forecast modelling for new business sectors
• Implementation of new processes and controls for new business sectors
• Assist with improving efficiencies within the finance function
• Developing reports & KPI’s to improve turnaround time of deliverables
• Work with business heads for business case development relating to capital expenditure projects

Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) with 1-2 PQE
• Excellent MS Excel experience (Tableau/SQL/Power BI also advantageous)
• Well organised, detail orientated with self-starter attitude
• Strong communicator, with an ability to work with a variety of different stakeholders

The Offer:

• Permanent Role - Based in South Dublin
• €70,000 - €80,000 Depending on Experience
• Discretionary bonus
