I'm working for a number of multi-strategy Hedge Funds and Prop Firms to hire Senior Event / Catalyst PMs
As a Senior Event Driven / Catalyst Driven Portfolio Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding your portfolio. The role involves executing on a combination of Merger Arbitrage, Special Situations, and other Catalyst-driven strategies.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage a high-conviction, event-driven portfolio with a global, North America, APAC, or European focus.
- Leverage a combination of Merger Arbitrage, Special Situations, and Catalyst-driven strategies to generate alpha.
- Drive returns through active investment decisions, rigorous research, and disciplined risk management practices.
- Build out your own portfolio team, manage infrastructure setup, and work closely with the firm's leadership to scale the event-driven business.
- Work within a collaborative environment where you’ll be encouraged to contribute to firm-wide growth initiatives, helping shape the overall direction of the event-driven segment.
- Maintain a Sharpe Ratio of 1.5 or higher, with a historical track record of generating a minimum of $10 million in PnL per year over the last five years.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Consistent performance history, achieving a Sharpe Ratio of 1.5+ and generating $10 million + PnL annually over the past five years.
- Experience with global, North American, APAC, or European markets, with the flexibility to focus on one region or a combination.
- Deep knowledge of Merger Arbitrage, Special Situations, and other Catalyst-driven approaches, with a record of successfully adapting strategies to shifting market dynamics.
- Interest and ability to lead the development of the event-driven practice
