Financial Accountant - Insurance

Leading Insurance firm is looking to hire a newly qualified Financial Accountant to join their Financial Reporting team based in Dublin 

You will work in a collaborative team and will give the successful applicant the opportunity to gain experience in the full end to end financial Reporting lifecycle. 

If you are coming directly from Audit, this will be a superb first move out of practice. 

Role and Responsibilities: 

• Preparation of financial reporting to senior management, group and the CBI 

• Prepare and review Balance Sheet reconciliations, carry out controls tests and identify and rectify any issues 

• Work closely with cross-functional colleagues to resolve queries relating to financial information 

• Contribute to the development and supervision of less experienced / part qualified colleagues 

• Ad hoc projects / duties as required 

Skills and Qualifications: 

• Newly Qualified accountant (ACA, ACA or similar) 

• Experience in Insurance, asset management, wealth management, banking or similar
