Reinsurance Operations Specialist
The Company
Our client is a Global Reinsurance Company based in Dublin City Centre working with P&C cedant companies across the world. In the role you will have broad exposure to the business and senior stakeholders across the company. This is great opportunity to accelerate your insurance career.
Main Responsibilities:
- Contract Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for contract acceptance for all business providers.
- Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from initiation to renewal, for all Group Re companies.
- Conduct thorough reviews of contract documentation, including terms and conditions and risk transfer analysis.
- Maintain a comprehensive contract database and ensure accurate data input into the SICS system.
- Generate contract analysis reports for senior management.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and deliver quarterly underwriting results, including data collection, analysis, and report generation.
- Reconcile financial data and prepare commentaries for the Chief Underwriter.
- Manage intercompany balance reconciliations.
- Cashflow Management:
- Oversee premium receipts and claims payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contract terms.
- Monitor collateral requirements and trust account funding.
- Internal Controls:
- Maintain accurate accounting files and prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous reinsurance administration or Insurance Company admin experience (UW exposure of specific interest)
- Comfortable dealing with large data sets - i.e. bordereaux data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
