Operations Resilience Specialist
The Company
Our client, a well-known Global Insurance Company has an immediate need for an experienced Business Continuity and Operation Resilience professional to join them in support of their DORA project readiness.
The Job:
- Build and maintain a robust Operational Resilience Management System (ORMS) aligned with industry best practices.
- Ensure we’re always ‘incident ready’ by developing and executing our business incident management capabilities.
- Be the first line of defense, providing assurance to leadership on the effectiveness of our controls and processes.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to identify and manage operational risks.
- Conduct regular testing and exercises to validate our resilience plans.
The Person
- Proven experience in Operational Resilience, Business Continuity, Risk Management, or Disaster Recovery.
- A deep understanding of relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in financial services is advantageous, but other regulated high availability sectors (e.g. telco / utilities) would also be considered.
The Offer
This is a full-time role initially being offered on a contract basis (either daily rate or salaried), but with opportunity to extend / move to permanency.
There is an excellent compensation package available that will be tailored to attract the right caliber of candidate.
The Company head office is in Dublin but good remote flexibility is offered with only one day per month required in office.
