The Challenge

The Process 

Site Visit & Initial Meeting

Fortis provided a daily tracker at the close of each business day, keeping the retailer’s Talent Acquisition team up-to-date on the candidate pipeline in real-time. The tracker included:

  • Status changes, including candidates interviewing with other employers 

Detailed Role Briefings 

Fortis worked closely with each hiring manager to clarify the specific requirements for each role. Detailed discussions covered essential qualifications, experience, and background preferences, as well as candidate profiles that wouldn’t be a fit. This alignment streamlined the search process and focused attention on the most relevant candidates. 

Streamlined Interview Process 

To meet the ambitious two-week target from CV submission to offer, Fortis collaborated with the retailer to design an efficient interview process. Candidates received a comprehensive briefing on the interview structure and expectations, ensuring a smooth, professional experience. 

Interview Preparation Pack 

Fortis developed an in-depth interview preparation pack to ensure candidates were fully prepared and knowledgeable before meeting with the retailer. This readiness allowed hiring managers to focus on assessing candidates’ skills and cultural fit, boosting interview efficiency.
